Zoe Cherukuri is a junior in high school with an interest in medicine and leadership. She enjoys learning about entrepreneurship, working with others, taking on new challenges, and helping others in her community. Through Local Lineup, she shares the unique stories and experiences of local businesses in the community.
Local Lineup began with a simple idea: every local business has a story worth sharing.
Growing up, Simran spent many evenings watching the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, fascinated by the stories behind restaurants, the passion of business owners, and the unique dishes that made each place special. In early 2026, while looking for a way to make a meaningful impact in the Loudoun County community, she began thinking about how those same stories existed right here at home.
Together, Simran and Zoe combined their interests in video production, storytelling, and content creation to launch Local Lineup. Using their filming, editing, and vlogging skills, they set out to create a platform that would highlight locally owned businesses and help connect them with the community.
Through documentary-style videos, Local Lineup gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the people, products, and passion that drive local businesses. The goal is simple: support local entrepreneurs, strengthen community connections, and share stories that might otherwise go untold.
What started as inspiration from a television show has grown into a community-focused initiative dedicated to celebrating the businesses that make Loudoun County unique.
